The story of Lux

This is the story of Lux, and of how I came to open the most elegant, classiest bar in Blanes.

My father, Enrique Espinosa, taught me the art of mixology. An elegant man like few others, and cocktail champion in 1987. At Lux we proudly display one of his trophies, because every day I open the bar I want to remember who taught me this great profession.

Thanks to everything he taught me — cocktails, running a bar and the values of serving people — Lux now has more than 250 reviews and a 4.9 rating. We went from being a place with a very bad name in Blanes to the top of the cocktail bars in the area. It's a place where I can remember his lessons, and where I come from, every single day.

We also make his own signature creations, like the legendary Olvido, the cocktail that made him champion, among others he created.

Whatever you've learned until today, forget it — now I'll teach you how to really work.
